Stardust is a small, eclectic shop in Old Town Fort Collins, and for one of my design classes, I got to redesign its logo. This wasn’t an official rebrand—just a fun project where I reimagined the shop’s vibe through a playful and bold visual identity that felt true to its name.

The tricky part was capturing Stardust’s fun, quirky feel without overdoing it. I wanted it to feel playful but still put-together, which meant a lot of trial and error with shapes, balance, and keeping the “celestial” feel subtle but present.

I leaned into simple, bold shapes and a warm color palette to keep things playful without feeling messy. By focusing on balance and keeping certain elements more abstract, I was able to reflect Stardust in a way that felt fresh but still grounded.

Results
The final logo feels bright, fun, and true to the spirit of Stardust. It captures that mix of charm and creativity the shop gives off, and it was one of those projects that reminded me how much I enjoy turning a feeling into a visual.
