Overview
I leaned into bold type, color, and layering to make each card feel fun and clear without losing function. It was a great exercise in letting typography do the heavy lifting while keeping things playful and easy to read. I used a vibrant orange color palette, oversized numbers, and layered typography to give each card a fun, modern twist. Every detail was designed to stand out while still feeling cohesive as a full deck.

Challenges
The hardest part was making sure the cards looked fun without losing function. I wanted to go big with type and color, but they still had to be easy to read and actually usable in a game. It took a lot of tweaking to get the right balance, figuring out how much was too much and when to pull back. It definitely pushed me to be more thoughtful with the details.

Solution
I kept coming back to simplicity and clarity. I let bold type do most of the work and used color and layering more as accents than distractions. By focusing on clean layouts and consistent spacing, I was able to keep things playful without overwhelming the design. In the end, it was all about trusting the type to carry the personality while making sure the cards still worked the way they should.

Results
The final deck feels bold, playful, and easy to use. It’s a fun twist on a classic, with just enough personality to stand out without getting in the way of how the cards are meant to be used.
