Lory Student Center
2023-2024
objective
During my time working with the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University, I had the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of creative projects that supported campus life, student engagement, and university events. The work showcased here represents just a small portion of the projects I was involved in, each offering unique challenges and opportunities to grow as a designer while creating meaningful experiences for students and visitors.
Among the projects featured are promotional materials for art exhibitions, marketing graphics for campus events, and a uniform refresh for one of the coffee shops located within the student center. Each project required a different approach, audience, and creative solution, giving me valuable experience designing for a variety of needs while maintaining consistency with the Lory Student Center and CSU brand standards.
impact
One of the aspects I appreciated most about this role was the diversity of the work. From event marketing and environmental graphics to branded apparel and promotional materials, no two projects were exactly alike. The fast-paced environment challenged me to think strategically, adapt to different design styles, and find creative ways to communicate messages to a large and diverse campus community.
outcome
Looking back, my time at the Lory Student Center played an important role in shaping my growth as a designer. It provided countless opportunities to collaborate, experiment, and contribute to projects that directly impacted the student experience. The variety of work I was trusted to take on helped build a strong foundation that continues to influence my creative approach today.
